Ojai

Welcome to beautiful Ojai, California — a great place to live. Quietly nestled in the valley between Ventura and Santa Barbara at the foothills of Topa Topa mountains. The town is surrounded by peaks that give off a glow in the evening light known as the pink moment.  Ojai represents the essence of California — art and culture mixed with the hospitality of a small town.
There are many Craftsman, Spanish and Mission-style homes in Ojai.  And there is no new developments either under construction or planned in Ojai, so it remains the quant feel of a small town. Here it is possible to own acres of land near town and still be able to ride your horse on the trails all the way to the beach, thus maintaining a rural feel to the area. From Ojai it is only twelve miles to Ventura and about thirty to Santa Barbara.
The wonderful climate of the Ojai Valley has drawn many who wish to rejuvenate their health and enjoy the seemingly never-ending sunshine.  The city encourages an outdoor lifestyle of biking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, golf and tennis.

Ojai is a vibrant place to live with so much natural beauty that it gained fame decades ago when the area was photographed to represent Shangri-La in the 1939 movie, The Lost Horizon. With so much scenic beauty and a sense of place, it is little wonder that locals relish the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors of the Ojai Valley.  Ojai is considered one of the four vortexes of the world and is truly a magical place to live!
